Tracadie – La Fondation Les Amis de l’Hôpital de Tracadie Inc. is proud to announce that thanks to the success of its 2020 Annual Campaign, $37,000 will be donated to the Tracadie Hospital for the purchase of equipment. The 2020 Annual Campaign goal was achieved through donor contributions and public support for the Foundation’s special events, such as the Northern Star Campaign and the Roses Radiothon.
In order to improve patient comfort and facilitate the work of the care team, 4 new stretchers, an ankle-arm index device to improve wound treatments, a patient lift and a blood pressure device will soon be delivered to our Hospital.
In addition, the Fondation Les Amis de l’Hôpital de Tracadie will also be able to support the Major Fundraising Campaign for our regional hospital, as we recognize the importance for patients here, as well as for future generations, to have access to specialized services in the region. “Thanks to the constant support we receive from our community, we are able to purchase equipment that would otherwise be impossible to acquire.” said Mr. Philippe Ferguson, President of the Fondation Les Amis de l’Hôpital de Tracadie.
The mission of the Fondation Les Amis de l’Hôpital de Tracadie is to raise funds to improve the health care offered by the Tracadie Hospital.
