Basile Robichaud Fund: a $100,000 legacy for the health of our community"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Tracadie \u2013<\/strong> The Fondation Les Amis de l\u2019H\u00f4pital de Tracadie Inc. is pleased to announce the establishment of the Mona Ferguson Robichaud and J. Basile Robichaud Fund in the amount of $100,000. This fund will help support the development of nurses at Tracadie Hospital and contribute to the sustainability of the Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>Mr.\u00a0Robichaud especially wants to highlight the dedication of his wife throughout her career as a nurse at Tracadie Hospital. \u201cMona always kept a large place in her heart for her patients and her co-workers. In fact, I never heard her say a bad word or speak critically or ill about anything when she came home from work. She only had positive things to say about her co-workers and patients. For her, being a nurse wasn\u2019t just a job, it was a vocation. I also realize the importance of health care in our region and I hope that my gesture will inspire others to do the same. It is very gratifying to know that the action taken today will continue to provide for future generations,\u201d explained Mr. Robichaud.<\/p>\n<p>The Fondation Les Amis de l\u2019H\u00f4pital de Tracadie wishes to thank Mr.\u00a0Robichaud for his idea to make this large donation to honour the memory of his wife and also confirm his support of Tracadie Hospital.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThanks to Mr. Robichaud\u2019s significant planned giving, the Foundation will be able to invest the money and the annual interest will go to meeting the needs identified in our agreement,\u201d explained Clifford\u00a0Robichaud, Chair of the Board of Directors of the Fondation Les Amis de l\u2019H\u00f4pital de Tracadie.<\/p>\n<p>The Fondation Les Amis de l\u2019H\u00f4pital de Tracadie is a key partner in maintaining and developing health care and services in the region.
