Tracadie, November 13, 2024 – The Fondation Les Amis de l’H\u00f4pital de Tracadie held its annual general meeting, marking the conclusion of a successful year thanks to the unwavering support of the community, donors, volunteers and many partners.<\/p>\n
Review of 2023-2024<\/strong><\/p>\n In his message, chair Clifford Robichaud celebrated the Fondation’s remarkable achievements over the past year, emphasizing the community’s exceptional contributions and commitment to the hospital and the region’s health care services. Thanks to this collective support, the Fondation has exceeded its goals, enhancing the accessibility and quality of care provided in Tracadie.<\/p>\n Key initiatives include the Loto Coop Sant\u00e9 Communitaire<\/strong> lottery<\/strong>, which has continued to provide crucial support. The Fondation extends its thanks to the Coop\u00e9rative R\u00e9gionale de la Baie Lt\u00e9e for more than 20\u00a0years of partnership. Their contributions have enabled the acquisition of numerous pieces of equipment, including, most recently, an essential ultrasound machine for the Medical Imaging Department. Each weekly $2 contribution to the lottery showcases the power of collective action and its lasting impact on the health and well-being of our community.<\/p>\n Fundraising activities such as the Radiothon des Roses<\/strong> and the \u00c9toile du Nord campaign<\/strong> have been instrumental in supporting community projects, enabling investments in state-of-the-art equipment for the hospital.<\/p>\n Annual 2023 campaign: Target surpassed!<\/strong><\/p>\n Under the leadership of campaign chair Andr\u00e9 Morais, the Fondation exceeded its initial goal of $80,000, reaching a total of $91,911. The funds raised have facilitated the acquisition of essential equipment, including a BiPAP Auto machine for respiratory therapy and a Umano bed for the medical sector, improving patient care.<\/p>\n The Fondation would also like to thank all those who contributed to the \u00c9toile du Nord campaign<\/strong> campaign, chaired by Lison Guignard, which raised $8,250 in partnership with UNI Financial Cooperation. This campaign exemplifies our community’s commitment and strong partnership with UNI, supporting essential projects to enhance health care.<\/p>\n Finally, the Radiothon des Roses<\/strong> with the dedication of co-chairs \u00c9ric\u00a0Robichaud and Solange Th\u00e9riault, surpassed expectations, raising $48,552.<\/p>\n New initiatives and sustainable support<\/strong><\/p>\n The Fondation also highlighted the creation of the Mona Ferguson Robichaud and J. Basile Robichaud Fund<\/strong>.
