This success is the result of a great collective effort, led by Andr\u00e9 Morais, campaign chair, with the support of a dedicated committee, donors, volunteers and hospital staff.<\/p>\n<p>The funds raised have made it possible to purchase essential equipment to improve the quality of care provided to clients, including:<br \/>\n\u2022 an Umano bed with therapeutic mattress for the medical unit<br \/>\n\u2022 an auto BiPAP machine for the respiratory therapy department<br \/>\n\u2022 a multifunctional treatment table for the wound care clinic<br \/>\n\u2022 an EZ Turn Disc to facilitate safe patient transfers<\/p>\n<p>In addition to these investments, a significant proportion of the contributions were put into the endowment fund, ensuring the sustainability of the Foundation&#8217;s actions and the continuity of care in the community.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Major gifts that make a difference<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Foundation gratefully acknowledges two remarkable philanthropic gestures:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 a commitment of $50,000 over five years to the endowment fund from the Auxiliaires b\u00e9n\u00e9voles de Tracadie-Sheila<br \/>\n\u2022 an incredible donation of $230,000 from the Coop\u00e9rative R\u00e9gionale de la Baie Lt\u00e9e (IGA de Tracadie) through the Loto Coop Sant\u00e9 communautaire, to improve patient care<\/p>\n<p>These contributions demonstrate the vitality of the community partnership and the desire to build a compassionate, accessible and quality care environment right here at home.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A team committed to a promising future<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Chaired by Clifford Robichaud, the Foundation continued to implement its strategic plan focused on sustainability and innovation, while strengthening its local partnerships. The board of directors and the professional team have worked with dedication to support the excellence and development of health care in the region.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This year&#8217;s results are a direct reflection of our community\u2019s solidarity and trust. Thanks to your commitment, we&#8217;re able to continue our mission to support the hospital and ensure quality care right here at home.&#8221;<br \/>\n\u2013\u2013 Clifford Robichaud, Chair of the Fondation Les Amis de l\u2019H\u00f4pital de Tracadie<\/p>\n<p><strong>The impact of your support<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Thanks to the generosity of its donors over the past year, the Fondation Les Amis de l\u2019H\u00f4pital de Tracadie invested: $22,185 (42%) in patient care, including diagnosis, treatment and follow-up; $11,479 (22%) in sectors related to diagnosis, treatment and follow-up; $10,000 (19%) in specialized regional services and the fight against cancer; and $9,634 (18%) in professional development and training.<\/p>\n<p>The elected members of the Board of Directors for the coming year are: Clifford Robichaud, chair, Lison Guignard, vice-chair, Monia Mallet, treasurer, Jacinthe LeClerc, secretary, Sonia Bernatchez, ex-officio member, Julien Hach\u00e9, F\u00e9licien Arseneau, Audrey MurphyThibodeau, JoDee Basque, Melanie No\u00ebl and Brigitte Mazerolle.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the Fondation Les Amis de l\u2019H\u00f4pital de Tracadie<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Since its creation, the Foundation has actively supported the improvement of health care and services for the people of the greater Tracadie-Sheila area.
