The Northern Star campaign is an important activity for us, as 100% of funds raised remains in our communities and is used to support our health care facilities. People are invited to purchase a mini-tree at their participating UNI Financial Cooperation point of service to support their local hospital,\u201d stated Mr. Hermel Chiasson representative of UNI Financial Cooperation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Northern Star campaign is a unifying community project that allows us to raise people&#8217;s awareness of urgent needs in our hospitals. Since the first edition of the campaign, more than $830,000 has been invested in our respective hospitals. For more information or to make a donation, I invite people to visit their local UNI Financial Cooperation point of service or the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.etoilenord.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\">www.etoilenord.ca<\/a> website,\u201d mentioned Mr. Clifford Robichaud, Chair of the event for the Fondation Les Amis de l\u2019H\u00f4pital de Tracadie.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLike many of you, I benefited from the care and services offered at our hospitals, and I am proud to confirm that we have access to quality care and services in our own communities. Participating in the Northern Star campaign also supports our health professionals in providing better health care services in our facilities. That is why I encourage you to support the event. Your contribution will help light the way to better health care in our region!,\u201d stated Ms. Marie-Jeanne Chiasson No\u00ebl, Chair of the event for the Fondation de l\u2019H\u00f4pital de Lam\u00e8que.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the lighting of dedicated Christmas trees, holiday-themed figures, and community fir trees near the hospitals will take place on the evening of Sunday, December 3.
